ZigBee Alliance announces adaption of IETF standards

The ZigBee Alliance, a group of companies creating standardized wireless solutions of energy management, commercial and consumer applications, announced that it will be using global IT standards from the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) in its own low-power wireless network standards.
