InterDigital (IDCC) was founded as early as 1972 and made public since '81. This company has practically invented and developed wireless technology.

Although the main focus of this company is wireless technologies, their products is not mainly gadget like other wireless technology companies. The main product of InterDigital is patents.

They hold over 3,000 foreign and US patents in this field of technology and as of now having 9,000 patent applications in process.
