Smart sensors at Mount St. Helens

New smart robotic sensors are now being used by scientists to monitor activity at Mount St. Helens. The project is comprised mainly by wireless sensors that relay data to one another to conserve energy.

The people behind these are professors from Washington State University Vancouver, experts from the US Geological Service, and carloads of graduate students who helped in the project.
